The Padua Football team came back a number of times tonight to defeat previously unbeaten Maple Hts, 27-26.  Junior Dominic Buttazzoni kicked the game winning FG as time expired to give the Bruins the victory.  Trent Cramer had 89 yards rushing with 1 TD.  Kevin Peterson threw for 226 yards with 2 TD’s, one to Ty Kelley at the end of the 1st half and the other to Alex Ludwick with 3 min left in the 4th quarter.  Maple Hts took the lead 26-24 with 50 sec left in the 4th quarter.  But, the Bruins came back and got into FG range where Buttazzoni kicked it through uprights to get the home victory.

Padua raises it’s record to 2-2 on the season and travels to Garfield Hts next Friday.
