The Padua boys soccer team began their season Wednesday night, playing host to Bay, who defeated Padua by a final tally of 8-1 in the match.

Alex Furst chipped in with a goal, Alec White netted two in a row, and Noah Beck, Evan Taylor, and Jonathan Spiesz scored the last three goals for the Rockets. Padua scored their lone goal with 18 minutes left in the second half, when junior forward John Parente, Jr. sent a left-footed shot into the far left side of the goal.
