Senior Golfers Nicole Johnson and Michaela Thomas and Senior Lacrosse Player Michael Wtulich have Officially signed their National Letters of Intent to continue their careers at the interscholastic level next fall. Both Michaela and Michael will be going to Mercyhurst University and Nicole will be attending Gannon University.
Nicole will be a Golden Knight next fall and she couldn’t be more excited! She will be pursuing a Communications Degree at Gannon. While at Padua Nicole was one of the Girls Golf Captains and was also recognized for her accomplishments by the Coaches of the Northeast Ohio Golf Coaches Association and All District Honors this past season.
Michaela Thomas will be attending Mercyhurst University next fall and she is currently undecided on what major she will be pursuing. Joining Nicole as a Captain this past season, Michaela has had many accomplishments to help her team, she qualified for Districts two years in a row and she as also recognized for her accomplishments from the North Coast League, Northeast Ohio Golf Coaches Association, and All District Honors.
Michael Wtulich will be joining Michaela next fall at Mercyhurst, but he will be on the Lacrosse Field. Michael has been one of the key components for the Lacrosse Program these past four years on the defensive side. Being a four year Letterman, Michael was able to craft his skill on both the Lacrosse Field and Hockey Rink. The reigning team MVP from last years team, Michael is very excited to continue leading the Bruins into postseason play this year and making an impact as a Laker at Mercyhurst next fall where he plans to Study Sports Business Management.
