The Padua Athletic Department announced on Thursday the hiring of new coaches for their Girls Bowling and new Girls Lacrosse programs. Carly Graham will take over the Girls Bowling program and Brieanna Martineau will lead the Girls Lacrosse program in their inaugural season.
“We are excited to welcome Carly to the Padua athletic department and our Padua family. She brings a ton of experience working with young bowlers from her clinics in the past, plus her personal bowling experiences over the years. I know she’s anxious to start working with our girls,” says Athletic Director Kevin Leigh. Carly has been working with younger bowlers for many years at a number of Greater Cleveland bowling alleys and comes highly recommended by her peers in the bowling community.
“We are also excited to have Brie become part of our Padua community and start up our Girls Lacrosse program. She brings some great experiences from college and high school, which will be an asset for our girls and help build the program at Padua,” says Leigh. Brie comes to Padua after graduating from Baldwin Wallace University, where she played all 4 years having been team captain during her senior season plus earning All-OAC 1st team honors from her junior season.
We hope to have an opportunity for our student-athletes and parents to meet with our new coaches in the near future. We will contact interested families when we’re able to have those activities. Contact information for the coaches has been added to the website. Please contact the Athletic Department for more details.
