The Padua Football team defeated Elyria Catholic on Friday night 21-0 to earn it's second shutout victory of the season.  The Bruins improve to 3-2 on the season with the win. 

Padua scored on their opening drive on a 21 yard touchdown run by senior quarterback Nick Barker and the defense made a goal line stand to give the Bruins a 7-0 lead at halftime. Senior running back Roderick Love scored early in the third quarter on a 17 yard touchdown run, then scored again on a 10 yard touchdown run to seal the victory for the Bruins.  The defense made another goal line stop with an EC turnover to earn their 2nd shutout of the season. 

Padua returns to action next Friday when they travel to North Royalton to take on the Bears.
