The Boys Basketball team defeated CVCA 50-46 last night to give the Royals their first conference loss of the season. The Bruins improve to 10-4 on the season and 4-2 in North Coast Conference play.
Padua was led by
Riley Cervenka (15 points) and
Gio Roman (14 points). Junior Minite added 11 points and
Jack Boswell also scored in double digits with 10 points.
With the victory, Head Coach
Brian Ansberry becomes the first coach in Padua Boys Basketball history to reach 100 wins.
The Bruins return to action on Saturday when they travel to Mentor to take on Lake Catholic.
