The Hockey team defeated Amherst Steele 3-2 on Senior Day on Sunday. The Bruins improve to 7-13-1 on the season with the victory.
The Bruins jumped out to an early lead with two goals in the first period by
Brandt Boomsma and
Jacob Rihvalsky. The Comets tied the game in the second period before
Max Urban-Matejcik scored the game winner just before the end of the second period. Tim Hess and
Austin Green combined to get the win in goal for the Bruins.
Padua returns to action next weekend with a home and home series with Walsh Jesuit on Saturday and Sunday.
