The Boys Basketball team defeated John Marshall 97-60 on Thursday in their home and season opener. 

The Bruins were led by Antione Wooten with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals.  The following players also contributed to the victory:

• Jack Boswell - 17 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists
• Dominic Harb - 15 points on 5 three pointers, 2 steals
• Jai'Den Gambrell - 13 points, 4 assists, 4 steals
• Geo Smith - 12 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals
• Matt Lasky - 8 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals
• Braylon Benson - 6 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals

Padua returns to action on Friday night when they host Maple Heights.
