The Indoor Track & Field teams competed in their final NEOITC meet at Spire on Friday night with the Girls finishing in 2nd place & Boys earning 7th place.
The Girls team had the following top 5 performances: Jenna Manson-1st place in the shot and weight throw; Allie Krayzel-1st place in the high jump and 1600 meter run where she reset her school record with a time of 5:21.32; the 2nd place 4x400 meter relay team of Smilla Cohagan, Sophia Yonan, Samantha Ezzie, and Krayzel; Eva Stearns-3rd place in pole vault and the 3rd place 4x200 meter relay team of Cohagan, Yonan, Olivia Frazier and Ezzie. Audrey Butler and Taylor Hallock finished 4th and 5th respectively in the high jump.
The Boys team had the following top 5 performances: Roderick Love-1st place in the long jump with a new school record of 20' 5.5", plus 2nd place in the 60 meter dash. Zion Mealing took 3rd in the weight throw and 4th in the shot put. Landon Hanover also took 3rd place in the pole vault where he reset his school record with a vault of 10' 0".
The Bruins return to action next weekend for the All-Star meet at Spire on Friday.
