The Softball team defeated Magnificat 9-3 on Thursday to improve to 2-0 on the season. The game was tied 3-3 after two innings then the Bruins scored six unanswered runs to get the victory. 

Emily Black led the way for Padua with 2 hits, 3 RBI's and 1 run scored.  The following players also contributed to the Bruins victory: 

• Aleiyha Aponte - 3 hits, 1 RBI, 5 IP, 1 ER, 5 K's
• Maya Stavnicky - 3 hits, 2 runs scored
• Julia Ezzie - 2 hits, 1 RBI, 1 run scored
• Alayna Konopinski - 2 hits, 2 RBI's

Padua returns to action on Saturday when they host NDCL before they head to Myrtle Beach, SC for their spring trip at Ripken Experience.
