The Softball team defeated Beaumont 12-1 on Friday to start conference play and improve to 4-5 on the season. 

Samantha and Julia Ezzie led the way for the Bruins with 3 hits apiece.  S.Ezzie added 2 runs scored and 2 RBI's and her sister J.Ezzie scored 2 runs in the game.  The following players also contributed to the Bruins victory: 

• Annabelle Shuman - complete game 7 IP, 1 ER and 9 strikeouts; plus 1 hit, 1 run scored and 1 RBI
• Maya Stavnicky - 2 hits, 2 runs scored
• Aleiyha Aponte - 2 hits, 1 run scored, 2 RBI's
• Madelyn Rees - 1 hit, 2 RBI's
• Emily Black - 1 hit, 1 run scored, 1 RBI

Padua returns to action on Monday when they host Holy Name.
