The Softball team defeated CVCA 7-4 on Thursday to improve to 6-7 on the regular season and 2-2 in conference play. 

Julia Ezzie led the way for the Bruins with 3 hits, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI's.  The following players also contributed to the victory:

• Braelyn Boguski - 3 hits, 1 run scored
• Maya Stavnicky - 3 hits, 1 run scored, 1 RBI
• Aleiyha Aponte - 2 hits, plus earned the win on the mound with 4.2 innings pitched allowing 2 hits and 4 strikeouts
• Claire Mooney - 2 hits
• Samantha Ezzie - 1 hit, 1 RBI
• Alexandra Camarati - 1 hit, 1 run scored, 1 RBI
• Annabelle Shuman - closed the game on the mound with 2.1 innings pitched allowing no hits and 2 strikeouts

Padua returns to action this weekend as they compete in the Prebis Memorial Classic at Victory Park.
