The Softball team defeated Chaney 6-1 on Thursday in the opening round of the OHSAA tournament and advances to next week's District tournament. 

The Bruins had contributions throughout the lineup and Annabelle Shuman pitched a complete game allowing just 1 run with 10 strikeouts.

Padua continues in the OHSAA tournament on Tuesday when they host NDCL in the District semi-final game.
