The Girls Soccer team defeated Laurel 1-0 on a rainy Monday night to improve to 8-5 on the season. 

The Bruins outshot the Gators 29-5 but didn't score until midway through the second half when Ashley Rypiak scored off a pass from Evelyn Malcuit.  Olivia Morgan earned the shutout in goal with 4 saves.  

Padua returns to action on Wednesday when they host Lake Catholic at Padua Stadium.
