The Girls Basketball team defeated Elyria Catholic 49-32 on Saturday to improve to 5-0 in conference play and 11-3 overall on the season. 

During the victory, Ally Tonsing recorded her 500th career rebound for the Bruins as she tallied 2 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Padua had three players score in double figures led by Darlene Jaidah with 15 points, Izzy Lapp added 14 points and Sophia Spade scored 11 points.  

The Bruins return to action on Thursday when they take on Holy Name.
