Girls Swimming defeats Valley Forge; Boys Team suffers heartbreaking Loss

Last Wednesday Night, Padua Franciscan and Valley Forge battled in a dual meet at Valley Forge High School.  The Lady Bruins were able to pull off an impressive victory of 111-69.  The Boys Team suffered their first loss of the season as they fell 90-74.   Both teams will travel to Cleveland State University this

SAVE THE DATE: Winter Sports Parent Meeting – Tuesday November 6th

The Winter Sports Parent meeting will be held on Tuesday Nov.6th at 6pm in Padua’s cafeteria. Individual teams will have their parent meetings immediately following the general meeting, starting around 7pm. The general meeting will review the Athletic Department policies and medical procedures for the winter sports athletes. Any questions, please contact the Athletic Office

Padua Winter and Spring Sports update

Starting next week, some of the winter and spring sports teams will begin their workouts and/or conditioning.  The following programs will have meetings with players on Tues, Sept 4 after school. Boys Basketball: mandatory meeting for anyone interested in playing basketball who is NOT participating in a fall sport on Tues, Sept 4 from 4:30-5pm

Two Padua Coaches earn NCL Coach of the Year; 10 on All Conference 1st Team for NCL

District Recap for Swimming: Laneve punches Ticket to States in 100 Back

Senior Matt Laneve qualified for the State Meet this coming weekend with his performance in the 100 Meter Backstroke. Matt also broke the Padua Backstroke Record (3rd Time this Season) and the current record now stands at 54.87.  Matt will represent Padua Franciscan High School for the first time since Padua Alumni Nicholai Moysaenko ’15 qualified for

NCL Swimming Recap: Boys finish 3rd and Girls finish 6th

The Swim Team competed in the 2018 North Coast League Championship today at Gilmour Academy. Below are the results of the Meet: NCL Swimming and Diving Championships They will take what they learn into this meet as they will compete in sectionals this coming Friday at the University of Akron.

Girls Swim Team captures Parma Championship, Boys finish 2nd

For the 6th consecutive year The Lady Bruins Swim Team are Parma Champs! This meet was held at Parma Senior High School last Saturday. This meet was the 26th Annual Parma City Championships. First place finishes for the Lady Bruins was Junior Erika Ranker in the 100 Backstroke, Sophomore Michele Lew in the 100 Breaststroke.
