The Boys Basketball team used a balanced scoring attack to defeat Normandy 78-44 last night to open their season. The Bruins took an early 20-7 lead after the first quarter, then Normandy cut the deficit to 7 points midway through the second quarter. Padua took charge from there and extended their lead to 41-22 at halftime and outscored the Invaders in the second half to secure the victory.
The Bruins were led by Jack Boswell with 13 points, Antione Wooten with 11 points and Gio Roman added 10 points with nine other players scoring for Padua in the game.
Padua opens their home schedule on Friday when they host Independence.
