The Volleyball team defeated Beaumont in straight sets last night, 25-15, 26-24, 25-16, to get their first victory of the season.  With the win, the Bruins improve to 1-1 on the season and 1-0 in the new North Coast Conference.  The victory was the first career win for new Head Coach Sarah Burkhart!

The Bruins had a balanced attack led by Amber Zver (9 kills, 4 aces, 10 digs), Angelina Gaal (8 kills), Sophia Sidon (8 kills) and Kaley Jablonski (4 kills) with Madelyn Kocmit adding 27 assists and Giulia Reginelli had 17 digs. 

Padua returns to action on Saturday for their home opener against Toledo Notre Dame Academy.  Freshman match starts at 11am, with JV and Varsity to follow.
