Padua Girls Cross Country competes at Glenoak Invitational

On Saturday, the girls cross country team opened up their season at the Glenoak Golden Eagle Invitational. The girls finished 17th in the 21 team field. The girls were led by freshman Briley Poplyk, who finished 51st in a time of 21:57. Sophomore Allison Krayzel was next across the line for the Bruins, finishing in 84th in 22:49. Senior Valerie Harris (109th, 23:42), Sophomore Leah Panteck (120th, 24:18) and Sophomore Kaylee Egnaczyk (141st, 25:16) rounded out the scoring for the Bruins.
