Padua Athletic Department announces new head coach for Girls Soccer - December 11, 2025

The Padua Athletic Department announced the hiring of Franco Tieri for their Girls Soccer program.  Coach Tieri had recently been the head coach in the Parma City School District at Parma Senior High School and Normandy High School, where he recently was named the Coach of the Year for their conference.  Tieri will take over the Girls Soccer program for the 2026-27 season.   

 "We are very excited to welcome Coach Tieri to the Padua athletic department and our Padua community.  He brings experience as a head coach of a high school program plus his experience in club soccer over the years. I know he's excited to start working with our girls and get started for next season," says Athletic Director Kevin Leigh.  

Coach Tieri is a Parma native and has coached in the community for many years.  He will take over the program with 12 returning players from last year's Varsity team, which had 12 wins and advanced the District tournament last season.
