The Hockey team defeated Rocky River 6-2 last night to advance in the OHSAA tournament. The Bruins started strong in the first period with 3 goals and led 3-1 after two periods of play. After killing off a penalty, Padua scored twice to increase their lead and added an empty netter to seal the victory.
Jacob Rihvalsky scored 3 goals to lead the scoring attack.
Adam Coyne added 2 goals plus an assist and
Max Urban-Matejcik 4 assists.
Joshua Kustra earned the win in goal with 41 saves on the night.
The Bruins advance to play St. Edward on Saturday at Brooklyn at 7:15pm.
