Girls Basketball advances to District Championship!

Bruins defeat Walsh 67-31

The Girls Basketball team defeated Walsh Jesuit 67-31 last night to advance to the District Championship on Saturday.  With the victory, the Bruins improve to 15-8 on the season. 

Padua used a balance scoring attack to take a big lead early in the game and cruised to the victory.  Three players scored in double figures with Izzy Lapp scoring 16 points, Darlene Jaidah 15 points and Sophia Spade 14 points.  Ella Figliano added 9 points and Ashley Rypiak scored 8 points.  

The Bruins will play in the District Championship on Saturday against Archbishop Hoban at Elyria HS at 4pm.
