The Track & Field team opened their outdoor season on Saturday at the Sanders Invitational hosted by Olmsted Falls. The Girls team finished in 4th place and the Boys team finished in 6th place with a few Bruins winning their events at the meet.
The following athletes earned top three finishes:
- Roderick Love - 1st place in 100m; 2nd place in 200m
- Audrey Butler - 1st place in High Jump; 1st place in Long Jump
- Darlene Jaidah - 1st place in 100m; 2nd place in 200m
- Alex Franceschi - 2nd place in High Jump
- Allison Krayzel - 2nd place in High Jump
- Girls 4x100 relay - 2nd place (Audrey Butler, Smilla Cohagan, Alexis Wentz and Darlene Jaidah)
- Girls 4x200 relay - 2nd place (Valerie Harris, Olivia Frazier, Sloane Dennison and Sophia Yonan)
- Girls 4x400 relay - 3rd place (Valerie Harris, Olivia Frazier, Eva Stearns and Smilla Cohagan)
The Bruins return to action on Wednesday when they host St. Vincent-St. Mary's in a dual meet at Padua Stadium.
