The Baseball team defeated Floyd Central (KY) 11-1 on Tuesday night at Ripken Experience to earn their first victory on the season.  The game was tied 1-1 going into the top of the fifth inning, when the Bruins came to life at the plate and scored 10 runs over the next two innings for the victory. 

Lucas Palange pitched 6 innings allowing just one run with 6 strikeouts for the victory, plus had 3 hits and 3 RBI's at the plate.  The following Bruins also contributed on offense:

• Makhi Williams - 3 hits, 2 runs scored, 1 RBI
• Trey Martin - 2 hits, 1 run scored, 3 RBI's
• Chase Martin - 2 hits, 1 RBI
• Riley Ziemba - 2 hits, 2 runs scored

Padua returns to action on Thursday against Ashland Blazer (KY) at Ripken Experience.
