The Baseball team came back to defeat Nordonia 4-2 on Monday to improve to 6-5 on the season. The Bruins trailed 2-1 heading into the bottom of the fifth inning, scored two runs to take the lead and added an insurance run in the sixth inning for the win.
Chase Martin earned the victory on the mound scattering 8 hits, allowing just 1 earned run with 4 strikeouts.
Makhi Williams picked up a two inning save with 1 strikeout to give the Bruins the victory.
Spencer Siedlecki and
Trey Martin had RBI hits in the bottom of the fifth inning to give Padua the lead and
Logan Schnell had 2 runs scored with 1 hit for the Bruins.
Padua returns to action on Tuesday when they travel to Cuyahoga Falls to take on Walsh Jesuit.
