The Boys Soccer team defeated Rocky River 3-1 on Saturday to improve to 6-2-3 on the season.
Garrett Nowicki scored a hat trick in the victory after being honored during pregame for breaking the school record for career goals earlier this season. Nowicki scored twice in the first half with the assists going to

Ryan Petsche to give the Bruins a 2-0 lead at halftime. The Pirates scored early in the second half and pressured the Padua defense with
Greg Dudick making key saves and
Brayden Mordarski clearing away potential goals to maintain the 2-1 lead, when Petsche assisted on Nowicki's third goal to seal the victory. Dudick earned the win in goal with 12 saves.
Padua returns to action on Tuesday when they host Lake Catholic in a key North Coast Conference match at Padua Stadium.
