The Girls Basketball team defeated Youngstown East 55-15 in the OHSAA Sectional tournament on Thursday.  Padua advances to the District tournament next week and improves to 19-4 on the season. 

The Bruins were led by Sophie Spade with 17 points.  Izzy Lapp and Darlene Jaidah also scored in double figures with 10 points each.  

Padua will host St. Martin de Porres on Wednesday in the OHSAA District semi-finals at 7pm.
