The Boys Lacrosse team defeated Elyria Catholic 17-0 in the opening round of the OHSAA tournament and improves to 14-3 on the season. 

The Bruins had contributions from the following players in the victory:

• Brody Evans - 2 goals, 2 assists
• Trey Gasparro - 2 goals, 1 assist
• Trevor Johnson - 2 goals, 1 assist
• Anthony Post Jr - 2 goals
• Jack Lorz - 2 goals
• Landon Kwiatkowski - 1 goal, 1 assist
• Anderson Yukich - 1 goal
• David Jablonski - 1 goal
• Ryan Franko - 3 assists
• Justyn Gillispie - 1 assist

Jackson Hicks and Sean Nugent combined for the shutout with 4 saves each.  Padua also dominated the faceoffs with Brayden Miller going 7 for 8, Casey Johnson 6 for 6 and Greg Dudick 6 for 6.  

The Bruins will travel to Toledo next Wednesday to take on St. John Jesuit in the next round of the playoffs.
