The Padua Football team will open their 2026 season on Friday when they host South Range High School at Padua Stadium. The season opener will also be the first home Varsity Football game for the new Zavagno Athletic Center, which has concessions, restrooms and Bruin Shop available for spectators!
This will be the first ever meeting between the Bruins and the Raiders. The Bruins look to bounce back from last season and South Range looks to improve on their 7-5 record last season.
Padua returns some key starters, including seniors Trey Gasparro (WR/DB), Nick Kelly (RB/LB), Dominic Santoro (RB/LB), Colin Grealis (QB), Jose Caban (DB/WR), Connor Kramp (WR/LB), Kayleb Shaw-Mason (LB/RB) and Josh Vetrick (RB/LB). Other key starters returning are juniors Reed Cervenka (WR/DB), Troy Cavadas (OL/DL), Eamon O'Connor (OL/DL) and Cameron Kucinic (OL/DL) plus sophomore Maks Karasek (RB/LB).
Other seniors who look to contribute for the Bruins this season include Jack Boswell (TE/LB), Justyn Gilliespie (RB/LB), Pierre Lockhart (WR/DB), Eddie Franceschi (TE/DL), Vince Angelone (WR/DB), Brandon White (WR/DB), Luca Clare (WR/DB), Jace Mossbarger (TE/LB), Nick Terry (OL/DL), Louie Papile (OL/DL), Kortland Pack (OL/DL) and Aiden Relic (K/P).

TICKETS: Tickets are available online through Padua's ticket site (CLICK HERE). Admission is $10 for Adults (online, credit/debit card or cash at gate), $5 for Senior Citizen (60+), Military (active/retired) or High School students (cash at gate), and Grade School students (K-8) & younger are admitted free of charge.

PARKING: Parking on campus has changed with the construction of the new Zavagno Athletic Center. There are entrances to the stadium through the Zavagno Athletic Center plus the back stadium entrance, located by the NW parking lot in the back of the school. Handicap parking is available in the front parking lot by the baseball field in front of the Athletic Center. JV/FRESHMAN GAME INFO: The Freshman Football team will play on Thurs, Aug 20 at the Rominger Athletic Complex next to South Range HS, 11375 Columbiana-Canfield Rd, Canfield, OH 44406. Kickoff is 6pm. Admission for the Freshman game is $5 for Adults and $3 for Students (CASH ONLY). The JV Football team will play on Sat, Aug 22 at the Rominger Athletic Complex at 10am. Admission for the JV game is $5 for Adults and $3 for Students (CASH ONLY).
