On Saturday, the Bruins traveled to Forest Hills Park and competed in the 66th annual McDonough Invitational. The Bruins had a strong showing, finishing in 4th in the 16 team field. Freshman Briley Poplyk led the way for the Bruins, finishing in 10th place with a time of 21:29. Sophomore Allie Krayzel was next across the line, finishing in 20th with a time of 22:01. Sophomore Leah Panteck (43rd, 23:27) Freshman Samantha So (58th, 24:11) and Sophomore Kaylee Egnaczyk (61st, 24:17) rounded out the scoring for the Bruins. The Bruins will continue their season on Saturday as they travel to Hillside Middle School for the Patriot Invitational.
