Hockey defeats Holy Name and advances to Regionals

The Hockey team defeated Holy Name 5-0 on Wednesday to advance in the OHSAA tournament.

Brandt Boomsma opened the scoring for Padua in second period, then the Bruins scored four goals in the third period by Brody Evans, Adam Coyne, Brayden Miller and Liam Crawford to seal the victory. Josh Kustra earned the shutout victory in goal with 14 saves.

Padua will play St. Edward in the OHSAA Regional semi-finals on Saturday at Brooklyn Recreation Center at 7pm.
