The Baseball team defeated Holy Name 5-1 on Tuesday to complete the two game series sweep and close out the conference schedule.  Padua improves to 18-2 on the season and finishes as North Coast Conference champions with a conference record of 10-2. 

Jack DeGeeter led the way for the Bruins tossing 6 strong innings allowing just 1 unearned run with 10 strikeouts.  Braylon Benson had a home run and scored 3 runs to lead the offense along with Michael Cangelosi who had 2 hits with a run scored and RBI. 

Padua returns to action on Thursday when they take on Olmsted Falls.
